[Veterinary Drug Name] Swine Foot and Mouth Disease Type O and Type A Synthetic Peptide Vaccine

(Peptides 2700+2800+MM13)

[Main Ingredients]

Contains the foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) of Type O viruses peptide 2600,2700 less than 25μg/ml,respectively. Contains FMDV of Type A not less than 25μg/ml

[Characteristics] Milky white emulsion with slight viscosity.

[Function and Purpose] Used for the prevention of Swine FMD Type O and Type A. The immunity period is 6 months.

[Usage and Dosage]  Intramuscular injection deep into the muscle tissue at the base of the ear,1.0ml per head. Primary immunization: Followed by a second dose 4 weeks later.Booster immunization: Every 4-6 months thereafter.

[Adverse Reactions]

 General adverse reactions: Some animals may have slight swelling at the injection site, temperature rise of 0.5〜1°C, reduced or stopped eating for 1〜2 meals, which gradually improves and disappears over time.

[Precautions]

(1) The vaccine should be transported under refrigeration at 2-8°C. It should not be frozen, and

should be transported to the place of use as soon as possible. Avoid direct exposure to the sun

during transportation and use.

(2) Check the vaccine carefully before use. Do not use if there are unusual substances in the

vaccine, cracks in the bottle, improper sealing, curdling, or spoilage. The vaccine should be

brought to room temperature and shaken well before use. Once opened, the vaccine should be

used up on the same day.

(3) This vaccine is only for healthy pigs. Use with caution in sick, thin and weak animals. Use

with caution in sows in late gestation and pre-weaned young animals.

(4) Strictly follow the operating procedures. The injection equipment and injection site should

be strictly disinfected, and the needle should be replaced for each animal. Staff who have been

in contact with sick animals should change clothes, hats, shoes, and perform necessary

disinfection before participating in vaccine administration.

(5) The vaccine can be used on pigs in safe areas, threatened areas, and epidemic areas. The

vaccine should be administered from safe areas to threatened areas, and finally to the

threatened herds in epidemic areas. A small trial should be conducted before large-scale use,

and the use range should be gradually expanded after safety is confirmed.

(6) In non-epidemic areas, movement or transportation is allowed after 21 days of vaccination.

(7) In emergency prevention, in addition to using this product for emergency vaccination, other

comprehensive prevention measures should also be adopted.

(8) In case of severe allergic reactions in individual pigs, use medications such as adrenaline in

time, along with appropriate supportive treatment measures.

(9) Used vaccine bottles, equipment and unused vaccines should be disinfected.
